The Nežárka River is a lowland river and is about 56 km in length. It flows on the right side to the Lužnice river. Canoeing is possible almost all year round on the lower stream from the confluence with another river (Lužnice). During a dry summer there is a lack of water on the upper stream. The best conditions for the upper stream are between 60-70 cm on the hydrograph in Lásenice. Lovers of water tourism will find the Nežárka a clean river to swim and relax.
The most popular part along the river is the protected landscape CHKO Třeboňsko and a man-made canal named Dekarka. Going downstream the nature park begins in the town of Stráž and ends in the town of Veselí nad Lužnicí. Camping is permitted on official camping sites only.
